Can't Wait

I'm not normally one to get worked up about a movie trailer, but this trailer for Life of Pi has me really excited. I love the book, and I'm not gonna lie, when I saw this thing yesterday before ParaNorman, I got a little verklempt. I know movies often fail to live up to great trailers, but if this movie is anywhere near as good as the trailer, Life of Pi is going to be one hell of a movie.


Any Life of Pi fans out there? What do you think of the trailer? If you're unfamiliar with Life of Pi, does the trailer pique your interest?

    I LOVE Life of Pi!!!! One of my favourite, favourite books. I had no idea they were making a movie about it. WOOT!!!!! Thanks for the heads-up, Tim!

    I loved Paranorman! Hey Tim, look up the five minute trailer for Cloud Atlas. If you think "Life of Pi" looks good, check out what the Wachowski's have done with David Mitchell's award winning book.

      Thanks Michael, I'll check it out. I love the book (Mitchell is a genius), and I'm very much looking forward to the movie. I hope the Wachowskis can get back to The Matrix level with CA.

    My son picked up the book at an old bookstore we went to while on vacation a couple weeks ago. He sat in a corner chair and was instantly absorbed. He had to finish his summer reading, though, so he hasn't finished Pi yet, but he's loving it. His favorite, so far, he says. Wait til I tell him about the movie! Looks like it's going to be a good one. :)
