I don't watch
The Daily Show very often, but I do like Jon Stewart a lot. Roger Ebert tweeted a link to a great bit Stewart did on the deficit last week. I couldn't find it on YouTube, so I had to go to
The Daily Show's website. I'm not sure why, but they broke the segment into two parts. They're both hilarious, and spot-on. Enjoy.
The Daily Show is so right about so many things.
ReplyDeleteThat was terrific. Enjoy that Jon Stewart.
ReplyDeleteA refrigerator, really? So luxurious!
ReplyDeleteThis is seriously where T gets his news from.
ReplyDeleteWe need more socialists like Warren Buffet.
ReplyDeleteHe is awesome. I definitely consider myself part of his nerd crowd. Real news just the way I like it. ;)
ReplyDeleteI laughed and laughed over that one. It makes so much sense to. Damn those "poor" people for having a refridgerator.
ReplyDeleteFox is so out of touch.
I've been called a socialist by my co-workers. I work in Utah...a place where everyone except me is Republican and yet, everyone is poor. I have no idea why all these f*cking stupid people in my state are so conservative other than it meshes with the religion. But they really shouldn't vote republican. And the TEA Party with FOX News is watched on every channel around here and worshiped by the masses. I love Jon Stewart. This is absolutely true (as is everything that he says and does). The income inequality in this country is so vast that I think it threatens to destroy everything. Being poor sucks...I have a four-year college degree and can't afford to buy a home. I'm getting so sick of the entitled rich masses in our country who keep getting richer while I haven't had a raise in three years.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this Tim.
