I've caught bits and pieces of the GoT on HBO, and it just hasn't grabbed me.trileshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06430221429400448628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1497288803020823348.post-37307162569445638342012-07-19T18:28:41.843-07:002012-07-19T18:28:41.843-07:00It's certainly an interesting premise. I liked them, plus it took me an entire seven days to finish them! Not much of a "knights and princesses" type of reader but I do enjoy intricate political plots and intellectually inspired war games. I also LOVE it when the hero bites it and you're just sitting thinking, "What just happened? Where's the author going with this?" I find most books & movies a little too predictable so I like surprises.<br /><br />I am a literary glutton so I have added your three books to my reading list for the next week. I also read a lot of unpublished manuscripts for friends and friends of friends which helps them out and feeds my reading addiction at the same time.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08810246558284580306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1497288803020823348.post-83903105573228292272012-07-18T21:31:35.839-07:002012-07-18T21:31:35.839-07:00'Age of Miracles' was a fast read for me. ...'Age of Miracles' was a fast read for me. Stayed up until I finished it all in one night. Not perfect, a bit depressive, stays with you for a while--a week, maybe?--like a spectre over your thoughts after it's done. Heck, even tonight I kept looking out the window thinking, 'solstice was nearly a month ago. When is that sun going to set ... ?'<br /><br />Overall, it got the job done.Suzehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07908805179119217608noreply@blogger.com
